About Me

My name is Yan, if I am to summarise myself in a few sentences it’ll be this:

I have lived and worked in four countries so far, very keen on travelling and experiencing different cultures. One of my main hobbies is playing Backgammon, which I combine with travel to play in tournaments around the world.

I am totally blind, unfortunately very few blind people participate in work and hobbies like Backgammon that “normal” sighted people take for granted, whenever and whereever I can, I’d try to promote disability awareness because this issue is close to heart for me.

This is probably the 10th blog I have ever started, I enjoy writing and telling people what I think; recently I have discovered that expressing my thoughts in short stories is actually a much more fun way to write than what I used to do, hence the focus here will be stories.
